Residential

L&M Heating and Cooling installs heaters and air conditioners in residential homes. In addition, we offer service contracts for routine maintenance. However, unlike other companies, we tailor each service contract to a client’s needs, so you do not end up paying for services you do not need or use.

Routine maintenance checks of your heater and air conditioner are important because they extend the life of your equipment, ensure proper ventilation, and prevent catastrophic breakdowns. We recommend that you have us check your HVAC system twice a year. Ideally, your system should be serviced in the spring and fall, right before heavy use. Regular maintenance checks prevent the system from being put under unnecessary stress, which can result in significant damage. During the maintenance check, we inspect the unit for proper refrigerant level, lubricate it if necessary, clean it, and inspect everything.

For clients who need their heating and air conditioning units replaced, we handle all the paperwork for the township you live in, so you do not have to worry about getting the correct paperwork filled out or dealing with the township. However, our clients are responsible for the cost of the permits.

L&M only works on gas units. We also service heated floors. All our products and services meet EPA guidelines. Homeowners may be eligible for rebates offered through the NJ Clean Energy Rebate program.

While we will install any system our client requests, L&M carries Trane because the company’s products are made in the United States and quality controlled in New Jersey. Trane has been serving New Jersey since 1913, so you can count on them to make products capable of handling the unpredictable New Jersey weather.

Due to frequent updates and changes in the HVAC field, we are committed to provide the most up to date technology available.
