L&M Heating and Cooling offers commercial and industrial HVAC service. We service chilled water and glycol building applications as well as cooling tower services and maintenance. Our experience lets us work with 1.5 tons to 1,000 tons of cooling.
We service Daikin VRV (also known as VRF) systems, Variable Frequency Drives, and Variable Air Volume (VAV) systems. Daikin VRV systems are a type of multi-split air conditioner that uses variable refrigerant flow control, so that the client has the ability to control the temperature in individual zones.
L&M sells and services both PTACs and mini splits. PTACs, which stands for Packaged Terminal Air Conditioner, is typically found in hotel rooms and other buildings with more than one room. PTACs house all parts in a single casing, including the compressor, condenser, and evaporator. A PTAC unit can heat a room in the winter and cool it in the summer. A ductless mini-split works differently. Instead of having all the parts in a single unit, mini splits have an outdoor compressor/condenser, which connects to the indoor unit through a suction line and a liquid line.
L&M Heating and Cooling also has a High Pressure Black Steam License and a Blue Seal Refrigeration License. This enables us to work on high-pressure boilers that are over 100 hp and more than 15 pounds of pressure steam as well as refrigeration equipment that holds between 24 and 65 tons of a toxic refrigerant. We also have extensive expertise in Data Centers.
All of our maintenance contracts are personalized to each customer to ensure they receive a contract that covers everything they need it to cover.
